Submissions are now closed for the Parliamentary Inquiry into Home Care for Children and Young People

The Carer Project was proud to inform and support carers to make submissions to this incredibly important inquiry, exploring the social and financial costs of providing care and the long term costs and benefits of that care to the wider community.

Carers are considered volunteers

We are the only volunteers in society carrying a financial burden as a result. Increased funding, training and wellbeing supports for the complexities of providing care are desperately required and The Carer Project welcomes the opportunity this Inquiry brings.
